This flagpole also features an external stationary halyard with a cast aluminum truck system and a cast aluminum cleat for easy operation.

What's the difference between internal and external halyard flagpoles?

An external halyard is located on the outside of a flagpole and an internal halyard is located on the inside of a flagpole. The best choice for commercial poles is our easy-to-use internal M winch system. This system provides added security for the flag and increased durability to the flagpole parts.

"Can I install the flagpole myself?"

All of our residential flagpoles or light commercial poles are simple to install using home tools and basic supplies from the hardware store. Larger commercial poles will require professional services such as a landscaping/sign company or a professional flagpole installer.

"Does everything I need to install the flagpole come with it?"

You will receive all the parts necessary to complete the flagpole as well as installation instructions. A few minor supplies will be needed, such as sand and concrete. Decorative flag pole collars are not included in the kit and can be purchased separately on our site.

"What size of flagpole is best for my project?"

For residential applications, 20 to 25 feet is appropriate for one-two story homes. With commercial applications, consider the desired location of the install, property size and building size to determine a complimentary height of the flagpole. Heights can range from 20 feet to 80 feet.

"What flagpole is best if I live on the coast or in a windy area?"

Please reference our wind load chart that will provide the details you need to make the very best flagpole selection for your area of the country.

"Is there a guarantee on the flagpole?"

Good? Better? No, just the BEST!

I cannot put into words my surprise and satisfaction with every single piece of the purchasing process and actual product. It isn't every day that you use a company's "contact us" email link that not only do you get a response within 24 hours of submission but your response is from the president of the company! Talk about leading from the front as we did in the military. Very refreshing to say the least. Add to that, we even exchanged emails on the weekends! Taking care of business outside of "duty hours" is unheard of in this day and age but not here at HD Flag Poles. As for the product - I cannot be happier. Everything was shipped together in one shipment. Everything was as expected based upon the website's description. The install was straight forward as outlined on the website. My flag pole has been in for a couple of weeks and as of last night was tested by an Arizona Monsoon Storm. While I cannot tell you exact what the wind speed was, I can tell you that the flag and pole both withstood what mother nature was dishing out (I only wish I could say the same for one my favorite trees in the backyard). There isn't an option here to upload any pictures or videos so I uploaded the video of the storm last night. Residential 25' One Piece Flagpole

It is very difficult to find a company that will answer the phone when a customer calls. I called with a question about the flagpole and the phone was answered on the second ring by a person.Jennifer answered my question and I ended up ordering on the phone. The kit arrived and I checked it out. The flag was missing so I called. Again, Jennifer answered and tracked it down that the flag was shipped separately. The pole will be installed next week, but so far the company is great and the product is great as well.
