FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHAT SIZE OF FLAGPOLE IS RIGHT FOR MY LOCATION?
For 1 & 2 story residential homes or smaller office buildings, flagpoles ranging from 15' to 35' are recommended. For commercial installations we recommend a commercial-specific flagpole ranging in size from 20' to 100'.

WHERE SHOULD I PLACE MY FLAGPOLE?
Optimal flagpole placement varies from location to location with no one location being the same. The main aspects to consider are the view of the flagpole and if the flagpole or the flag itself are impeding any trees, roof edges or electrical lines. The flagpole should be seen in the front of the building, without any entanglements.

CAN I FLY TWO FLAGS AT ONCE WITH THIS POLE?
Yes you can fly two flags at once with this flagpole but we don't recommend flying anymore than that.

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL HALYARD?
A halyard is a rope or wire that connects to the flag for racing and lowering. An internal halyard flagpole contains the rope or wire inside the pole itself while an external halyard flagpole utilizes the standard outside rope and cleat system.

FLAGPOLES ARE BIG AND HEAVY, HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
The average minimum cost to ship one 20' flagpole within state lines, is a whopping $600! So here at HD Flagpoles, we only charge a single flat rate freight fee of $329 per order, regardless of how many flagpoles you order.

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE ONCE I ORDER?
Order process within 24 hours. Shipping for telescoping flagpoles takes an average of 4-5 days while freight shipping on in-stock commercial flagpoles can average up to 4 weeks depending on your place in the production line. Shipping for commercial flagpoles with an anodized finish that are not in stock can take up to 6 weeks.

CAN I RETURN MY FLAGPOLE IF IT ARRIVES DAMAGED?
Yes, if you've identified damage to the flagpole, you can instruct the delivery driver to simply send the flagpole back due to damage. It's important to contact us immediately with pictures/proof if your flagpole arrives damaged.
