MAKE A STATMENT ON YOUR PROPERTY WITH A 25' FLAGPOLE

A 25 ft flag pole gives more than enough height to clear a two-story roofline, so the flag flies above the house instead of beside it. It's the tallest option in our residential flagpole telescoping range and a great starting point for churches, dealerships, and small office buildings. A few things to decide before you order:

  • Rope system: External halyard flagpole (rope on the outside, raise and lower by hand) or internal halyard
    flagpole(rope hidden inside, winch-operated, tamper-proof).

  • Pole type: Our HD Telescoping 25' collapses to 7'3" for storm prep. A one-piece flag pole for house is permanent with heavier construction. We also carry sectional and professional tapered models here at HD Flagpole.

  • Wind zone: Standard models cover most residential and commercial areas. Our Hurricane Series at this height handles 150+ mph if you're on the coast or in tornado alley.

You also get to choose from an array of finishes, including satin or anodized clear, bronze, or black. No matter what you’re envisioning on your property, we carry the perfect 25 ft flag pole. Call 1-866-964-7147 if you need help choosing!

SHOULD I GET A 20' OR 25' FLAGPOLE?

A 20-footer works for single-story homes and standard lots. But a 25 ft flag pole gives you the height to actually be seen from the street for two-story houses, larger properties, or anything set back from the road. The price difference between our HD Telescoping 20' and 25' is only $80.

HOW BIG OF FLAG DO I NEED FOR A 25' FLAGPOLE?

A 4'x6' is the standard. You can go up to 5'x8' for more visual impact, but our HD Telescoping 25' ships with a free 4'x6' American flag included.

HOW DEEP SHOULD A 25' FLAGPOLE BE IN THE GROUND?

4.5 feet. That's 10% of the pole height plus 2 feet. The ground sleeve that comes with your flagpole is perfectly sized already so you don’t have to stress about this. Just concrete it in, let it set, and you're good to go.

CAN I INSTALL A 25' FLAGPOLE ON MY OWN?

The HD Telescoping 25' weighs 30 lbs and collapses to just over 7 feet, so one person can handle it all on their own. Dig a 4.5-foot hole, set the ground sleeve in concrete, let it cure overnight, and slide the pole in - that’s it. Professional tapered and one-piece models weigh more (64-122 lbs), so you might need a second set of hands.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY FLAGPOLE?

Aluminum poles are low-maintenance. They don’t need painting or rust treatment. Rinse with a hose a few times a year to keep the finish clean. Check the halyard rope and snaps for wear periodically, and replace the flag once it starts to fray. That covers it.
